Privacy policy
Privacy at a glance
Sparrow Line uses no cookies, analytics or advertising networks. There is no embedded third-party content. Fonts and images come from the site's own server.
There are no user accounts, forms or comments. The bird finder has no image or audio upload. The checklist lets you select a borough or park without entering a precise sighting location.
Hosting and delivery providers process connection data when you visit. Checklist seen ticks are kept in your browser.
Some pages carry a partner link marked as advertising. It goes through a redirect on our server (/go/…) that records the click (time, page, link and basic request data such as the browser type) so we can match commissions; it sets no cookie. On the seller's site, the seller's own privacy policy applies.

Browser storage and saved sightings
The Seasonal NYC Bird Checklist keeps your seen ticks in your browser. These ticks record which species you have marked as seen.
To remove them, open your browser's settings for site data, find birdingnyc.com and clear its stored data. The wording varies by browser. Clearing cookies alone may not remove other site storage.
